“As an OBGYN PA for over 10 years, I have had the privilege to work in a field that I am passionate about. Being a PA has allowed me to transition between labor and delivery, high risk obstetrics, gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and outpatient settings. We are primary care, medical, and surgical subspecialties in one. APAOG has provided in-depth webinars of necessary topics and connections with successful PAs in the field. Without these benefits it would have been challenging to progress in OBGYN. Now, with a thorough understanding of the opportunities and barriers to PAs in women's health, we have come together to offer even more for our members.
