A relatively fast outpatient procedure helped infertile women become pregnant — without the need for pills or in vitro fertilization, researchers said here. Using micro-catheters and a 0.018-inch guide-wire, physicians can perform proximal fallopian tube recanalization in less than the time it takes to watch a feature length movie, reported Jeff Wang, BS, a fourth-year medical student at Chicago Medical School.
